Originally from the musically fertile city of Bath, England (close to Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios, among others) Martin Rawlins has been located in Beijing since 2006.

Martin has produced and mixed albums for some of the most influential and highly regarded artists in the Chinese music scene, including Queen Sea Big Shark, The Amazing Insurance Salesmen and Residence A.

As a recording engineer and musician Martin is quite obsessed with guitars, drums, microphones and various types of amplifiers.

Instrumentally, Martin is an accomplished bass player and guitarist, and a budding drummer.
